Hi, I have had two Bartholin Cysts in a period of time when I had no sexual activity whatsoever. I have regular STD checks and have none. You can definitely get a Bartholin Cyst without STD's present. Please don't jump to the wrong conclusion with your partner.
I have found that friction from using a condom have caused these for me - truly. It is horrible going through the discomfort until they are big enough to be operated on.
