I too have been suffering similar symptoms to those mentioned, such as headaches, dizziness, feelings of unreality and spots, pressure on the left side of my face, nose and eye.
I also get a very stiff neck. I have seen physios, a chiro, I've had a CT of the brain, and sinus, a heart monitor test and ultrasound, plus numerous blood test. Everything is fine according to the test, the neurologist and ENT specialist believe it is due to tension headaches. I must agree and I think it may be partly hormonal too as I am a 37 year old female. I think it all began when I had campylabactor last October and ended up in hospital, i believe I became very anxious and also had panic attacks.
I've taken up yoga and try to meditate when I can. The headache and pressure occurs most days, so I'm trying to be really positive that they will pass. Both specialist believe they will. Hope this helps some of you.
Thanks

Hi I have experienced the same problems over the past year. Its like pressure on my head, cant concentrate, dont feel all there, and my eyes are all disturbed. I have had a CT scan, eye exam, been to the doctors 15times, the neurologist and so on. Nothing is helping and they say they can't figure it out. I was sent for a blood test givin pills for vertigo, sinus infections, anti-depressents. I don't know what to do it's driving me insane. It went on straight for about 5months then went away for 6months and is back again. I was in a car accident that I always think is causing it, but all I need to know is how to get rid of this horrible feeling. [/quote/]
was your back inured in this car accident? i have a back injury i got from breakdancing, its been years and it hasn't healed, and for about the same amount of time, i've had the following symptoms:
-tiredness (specially after waking up early)
-if i dont have to wake up early, then i sleep for about 13-15 hours
-HEAD PRESSURE
-spacing out
- bad concentration
- photophobia (eye sensitiveness)
- sometimes the pressure in my head encreases with aerobic exersice
-other times i feel very weak, as if i was under anestesia during exersice
-i get a bit deezie at times
-i feel alot less charismatic due to the bad concentration
-my nose gets swollen inside (dunno if relevant)
-lazyness
if seen so many doctors, done sleep studys, CT, MRI, eye sheck, blood work, sinus x-ray.... everything showed to be normal, only found a small dehydration on my back between L4 and L5 disks, i dunno if thats tha cause of the rest of my symptoms...
other things ive done that could be relevant which may help find a match with other ppl are; taken supplement for working out, once i took a hit on the temple (but i guess if tahts the cause then the CT would have shown), i also used to smoke weed ( i wouldnt be surpriaed if this is the cause cus i basically quit cus it was making me lazy)...
staring at the PC screen for a long time encreases the head pressure... im hoping some one can relate to this symptoms and let me know what i can do which would help.. thank you btw, its nice to see that ppl here know what im going threw its really hard explaining to some stuburn ppl who think your just 'lazy', specially when they are yur parents... anyways, reply if u can help or like to talk about this type of problem

Finally a different road to travel. I never thought to see an opthalmologist.
I have been having severe migraines since my early 20's, and am now 36 yrs old. I have struggled for YEARS now. The pressure in my head is SO incredible that i feel as though my head will explode. I have them up to 5 times a week. Many nights i sit up in a recliner all night, bcs to lay down only makes the pressure more intense.
I have had sinus surgery, to have no relief, had numerous MRI's, and seen Neorologists. My MRIs showed something called Chiari 1 Brain Malformation. So i followed up with another 1 month later, to hear... no, not Chiari, but possibly MS. White matter legions on my brain. At this point i am just kind of frustrated and not doing anything, but contuing to search on my own.
It seems as though every Dr has a different opinion, and different reading of my MRI's.
It cant hurt to try seeing an opthalmologist. I have not even had my vision checked since i was about 21. I have perfect vision, so never think to see an eye Dr.
I am to the point now, that i will try anything and everthything. I have two beautiful small children and it is very difficult to be the Mom that i want to be while in pain the majority of my time.
Thank you for any more input.

For what its worth here is a list of my symptoms:
1) headaches
2) migraine (between the headaches and migraines around 12 15 days per month...resulting in my losing 12 pounds)
3) sensation of heaviness...or maybe swelling in specific spot in head (if you could intersect two lines, one from the left temple the other from the left eye the heaviness is right there)
4) feeling lightheaded (almost like helium is being pumped into my head)
5) spaced out
6) ears plugged (sometimes they pop...some tinnitus...but mostly just muffled hearing)
7) sore left ear (deep)
8) blurred vision (sometimes double vision)
9) sore left jaw
10) sore eyes (feel like they are being pulled on ...deep pain and stretching sensation)
11) tired
12) anxious
13) odd muscle pains
14) stiff sore neck
15) dizzy (making balance feel off)
16) areas at the base of my skull that are so sore that when I press on them I feel as if I will vomit)
17) sore scalp
I'm sorry you all have many of these symptoms (and more) but it is comforting to know I am not alone!
I am so tired of all of this and really fed up with going to bed every night hoping things will get better and getting up every day feeling like hell. I have spent a fair amount of time on the internet trying to figure out what's wrong. Here are some possibilities I have been thinking about:
1) TMJ problems
2) fibromyalgia (any other autoimmune disorders?)
3) increased intracranial pressure (maybe due to false tumor...or something else)
4) Lyme disease
5) symptoms related to a closed head injury (post-concussion syndrome) I had a significant concussion last year and although I was ok 2 months after I have only been unwell for the last 3 months again. This was the third closed head injury over the course of my lifetime...
6) anxiety (I doubt it but ...)
7) inner ear infection
8) MS
9) exposure to heavy metals (used to work with lead and solder)
10) inflammation of cranial nerves (maybe related to a virus)
11) neck injury (numerous car accidents over the years)
12) tumor
13) some exotic form of migraine
14) some sort of blockage of the blood supply to the brain
15) minor stroke
I'm sure there are a million other things but it's a starting point. Thanks for letting me vent.

HBP patients must ask his doctor who give him his anti HBP medication this question: 1- If I take this medication does that mean that HBP danger became behind me? His answer will be No, due to variant factors your BP can raise even if you take your medication.. 2- Does nocturnal headaches can indicate very HBP? His answer will be yes, when blood pressure raise in more than 90% of BP patients will have a very sever headaches. 3- In this case isn’t very wrong to take antialgic medication to get rid of headaches and go back to sleep. His answer will be yes, because patients must take un additional anti HBP medication to make his BP go low and keep away from HBP danger at the same time he will get rid of this headaches. 4-Why you didn’t tell me about this dangerous situation and giving me this additional medication? No answer!

the pressure started about 2 weeks before i went through a series of panic attacks which lasted for about 2-3 months (caused by cannabis use). i went to see the doctor before the panic attacks started and the doctor said it was probably due to anxiety. anyway, the panic attacks have stopped now but the head pressure is still there. so is the high pitched nose in my ears (mostly the right one).
the pressure points change all the time and are usually in the middle of my head, although are sometimes on the right but never on the left. the ringing is also in my right ear. maybe this is an ear problem? i will go and see the doctor in a few days when i get back to uni.
before i read this post i was worrying i had a brain tumor! but everyone else seems to be ok judging from the ct and mri scans, so this has made me feel much, much better.
thank you!
