dark brown discharge but haven't started my period yet

I am 13and I hav e been getting reddish/brownish discharge in my pants for day's now, I am really worried what it is. I want to tell my mum but I'm too scared and embarrassed. Is it my period? Is it an infection? Arrrgghh, help!

Please HELP! I am an average 10 year old girl who has friends that have already their period. I saw some comments that said it was an infection or it only happens to people who are pregnant but I'm still a virgin. I didn't have my period yet but soon my mom said I will this year. I have this brownish stuff in my undies with black bits. I don't know what they are but I have been having this for quite a week! Please help! 

heres my story today i woke up no brown discharge or anything i went to school and after lunch i went to the restroom and well ofcourse noticed my panties were brownish black and i didnt know what it was so i worried about it all day at school and i dont know what it is when  i got home i grabbed a clean pair of undies and went to the bathroom and it was darker and at the bottom of my undies it was red so i guess reddish blackish. And im 12 almost 13 in may 25 2012 i havent started my period and well i am scared to tell my mom and i wore two pads today cuz they are helping me not ruin my undies and all but yeah and i searched on a lot of websites about this i cuz i didnt know if i was sick or something so lots of people say pregnant, infection, or preperiod i thought it was a infection cuz i didnt have sex but my mom said i should be staring my period soon and so i found this website and it helps so much and im kinda happy to start my period cuz all my friends did but another thing it is itchy down there is that a side effect im just scared but trying not to make it obviouse there was one moment when my mom wwas outside but i was scared 2 tell her :( plz help me?

ok i have a brownish discharge in my undies and i had this about 2 days and im 12 and i havent started my period yet so im nervous and my undies keep getting ruined and i put tissue in my undies to stop ruinig my underwear but it keeps coming back and everytime i whipe it brown and starting to get redish and i told my mom and she said its coming soon im scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-(

ok, so ive had white discharge for like a year, and that is normal. the brown discharge is like a pre-period. dont be worried.(: hope i helped.((:

Hi im 15 nearly 16 and i've been having stomach cramps every month and sometimes just randomly. I have normal discharge and breasts and everything. Will my period ever come and should i be worried?

One day at school (monday) i got brown discharge stuff in my panties. I didnt know what it was and it kept happeniing the next day to. On wednesdayi went home and went to the bathroom. I had that again but it was triple the amount as before. I was really scared so i looked it up online. Some people said it was for pregnant girls or people with infections, their wrong. I wiped and their was blood all over the toilet paper. I was freaking out cause i was home alone. Im 12 turning 13 and this was my first time getting my period. If you get thiz brown stuff its totally normal before you get your period dont listen to people that say your pregnant. It just happens the first time maybe second :)

Well, that's a good thing... I just hope it's not a disease.. I'm 13, and I found it after coming home from school with cramps in my lower stomach. I had them a night before, and I couldn't sleep.

SAME!!!  I'm 13 and haven't had my period yet.  Reading this has kind of calmed me down but I'm still a little bit worried coz theres a little bit of blood in it too! I started getting the brown discharge 3 days ago- it was gooey and quite heavy!!!! I was getting normal white discharge before that although I've been getting some really painful stomach cramps before all this.  It's been quite heavy with a little but of blood coming out. Hoping the heavy brown stuff stops soon!

ur actully starting ur period girl,everyone start different.dont be supriced when it doesnt come next month its is normal,its time will come and u will have ur period every month.

I have had regular discahre since august 2011, and some time last month I had reddish/browish colour in it for 2 days, and I was wondering if it was my period because I have read that it could be your first period, but I have also read the it can be an infection, and I was just wondering what one it really is, please help!

I am almost 13 and not heavy enough to start and I am soooooooooo worried that I am sick. I have been up for about an hour in the bathroom and it is 2:30 AM and I am scared to get my parents. Plezzz help!
