it all started about a week ago. my girlfriend missed a birth control pill, so the following day she took two, like the instructions say. the next day she began spotting, which we assumed to be from taking two pills at once, even though she's had to do this before without spotting. her vaginal fluid was brownish, typical from having trace amounts of blood in it. but a day or two later, the brownish color changed to a dark, almost black brown color, and has been that way since. we're super careful; even though she's on the pill, i never ejaculate inside her. i'm getting pretty worried about her, since it's been about a week and there's no signs of the dark brown color going away. she has no other symptoms; no pain, no irritation, just the dark brown vaginal fluid. does anyone know what's going on?
