Hello,
I have been fighting Lyme disease for the last 3 years with oral antibiotics. I never had a problem dealing with the longterm antibiotics... no yeast/candida or other digestive track issues often associated with longterm antibiotic use. With my Lyme infection still quite active, I recently came off of antibiotics in prep for a different alternative treatment. In doing so, I've been taking "Cholestepure", (as my doc suggested) to help detox my system. Since coming off of antibiotics and starting the Cholestepure, I've noticed an increase in mucus discharge with my stools. It's always clear-ish and has almost no odor whatsoever. Once in a while it has very tiny (and I mean tiny) blood streaks mixed in. Is this a possible result of the detox and coming off of antibiotics? Perhaps just another symptom of Lyme... Any help would be greatly appreciated, will call my doc soon. Thanks!
I suffer from advanced lymes disease, and the one thing i do know is that antibiotics are not the answer, yes it helps to render the disease dormant when first contracted, but prolonged use of antibiotics is just not good for the immune system. Have you heard of samento, it's a natural peruvian herb that supposedly can clear the system of lymes with a prolonged detox, i used it for a month with great results, increase in energy, no more lymes blues days and revitalised memory and concentration, but i must admit i've never gotten around to doing the full detox. Look around online and you should find a case study with full instructions for detox including the use of burbur, made by the same company, nutramedix. and no i don't work for the company! their website is nutramedix.com. Good luck with your search and remember the only cure is a natural one.
