You will probably grow out of it before you will get treated for it. It's more like dry skin, so using a humidifier in your home to increase moisture using cream/lotion/vaseline twice a day helps to lock the moisture into your skin better. Do not scrub your skin as it will make your condition worse and make it redder and more sensitive - gently patting it dry or better yet, letting yourself air dry would be best - baby oil would best option for locking in moisture after a shower. A hot shower may make your condition worse as well as the heat will make it redder and the bumps more pronounced, for how long I would have no idea? Hopefully someone with this condition will answer as well and let you know what works for them but for now these are the tips that I can share with you.

Hope this helps and you can find some relief
