Hello, folks. My mother suffered from Alzheimers while she was alive. I am afraid this could happen to me too. I am 51 years old and soon I will be in the group of elderly people. I would like to know whether it is possible to diagnose Alzheimers in its early stage. Thanks in advance.
Hello. Alzheimer’s disease usually appears after 65. Diagnosing it in early stage means it should be discovered before this time. Memory impairment can be the first sign. Family members usually think that this is caused by aging. There are some studies which try to discover the disease in its early stage by EEG. They use series of low and high-frequency tones. However, this is still only experimental. You should consult with neurologist about this. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
