Did you find any relief? My mom had a tumor in the same area and she had surgery 3 months ago and she's having the same exact symtoms as she did while the tumor was inside her. She constantly has to be wearing a transderm patch which comes with nasty side effects. The MRI showed a small ring right where the tumor was which her doctor thinks is scar tissue from either the surgery or radiation. If you were ever to find out what the cause of those symtoms are and/or how you've doing now?

I had an acoustic neuroma in late April 2017 my dizziness was never gone but today I went to. Meijer and got reAlly dizzy. Not sure what is going on only 4th time driving for me because turning my head too fast makes me feel like I had a drink too many but then goes away quickly. Don't know what I am going to do guess I will wait and see what happens my post up MRI will be in about 4 weeks so maybe that will show sonething. Supposed to start back to work so we will serif I can handle it.

My brother had a tumor removed in 2007 and is still having dizziness and recently has been getting worst. His doctor says nothing can be done.

I also had meningioma removed ( golfball size) from base of skull on the right side. It was removed
April 2016 and was doing well for 6 month checkup, but around 7..7-1/2 months started experiencing dizziness/lightheadedness. My brain surgeon was notified and said maybe I need to see a neurologist. After reading many complaints from other people who've had meningioma removals and put thru multiple tests, I do believe there is no definitive answer to this question. My PCP had me try Antivert for inner ear issues........got no relief! Surely, there's an answer to our problem and would love to hear it because this is sooooo frustrating!!!! Someone please tell us something helpful.

I had Microvascular Decompression surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia 6weeks ago. The surgery was a success. I have been dizzy since the surgery.
This week it was so bad I had 2 MRIs to check if there was an underlying problem. I’ve been getting off my TN meds. Only taking one now. What I am wondering is
Do many patients have dizziness after MVD surgery?

I will be ten weeks post-op this week for a meningioma the size of a golf ball. I wouldn't say I'm dizzy, but I am lightheaded after a few hrs of activity, or less, even showering, dressing, certainly cleaning or bending a lot. I am now unemployed and possibly unemployable, can't drive due to post-op seizures. I doubt Soc Security would judge me disabled...it is such a long process anyway, but I have no income and would need so many adaptations to work again.
Ideas welcome.

I had brain surgery also, same thing, in 2002. My neurosurgeon told me it was normal to feel dizzy and we just had to cope with it. It passed for me in a couple years, but there were 2 things I did that I spoke to my doctor about. The first was wearing glasses. The pressure on my nose from them, stopped me from spinning, and my doctor thought it was an excellent observation. The other idea was to wear a gemstone called 'hematite, around the neck.. It reduces the dizziness in a big way, as far as I am concerned, but my doctor could not comment on this technique. Try these, you won't be sorry.

I had same area surgery 2014 but had to remove tumor from main artery first as it was wrapped around. So two surgeries in 24 hours. I experience dizziness too! I have an ear infection I guess and sore throat this week but the inner ear infection isn’t going away this time. I’m seeking Ngo so many post op stories similar. I had fluid leakage after surgeries into the brain but they said no big deal it would heal itself so now I’m concerned but it’s been 3 years

I have frontal lobe meningioma in 2005. Started experiencing dizziness in 2010 after Gamma knife radiation. I am now having full dizziness episodes ( throwing up and cannot stand up because the house is spinning). Just afraid I am gradually becoming depending on someone to help me daily.

9 months since my craniopharyngioma surgery. No issues until two weeks ago that I had Influenza B. It's terrible.

MVD 2013 for hemifacial spasm. Vertigo and loss of hearing. One month of rehab to learn to walk. Now 2018; constant dizziness, and head feels “dense”. Also, always fatigued. Surgery ruined quality of life.
