Hi
I know this post is over a year ago, I'm not sure about your other symptoms, but the crunching behind you r head is something I am familiar with. It sound like rice crisps popping when you move your head, mine is from degenerative disc decease. That is what I have been told. The funny thing is I also feel, deejay and pressure which they told me could be sinus related. I hope this helped.
Thank you
Maria

Look into POTS postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.  See the definition on wikipedia.  Do the symptom check list and see if that is describing your symptoms.  If so tell your PCP and have them refer you to a POTS specialist!  I hope you get some answers and feel better soon!!!

I have very similar symptoms. I have 5 mm pituitary microadenoma and 2 mm Chiari malformation. I almost passed out at physical therapy today when I was bending down. Head pressure in the back and tingling burning sensation drive me crazy. I am on gabapentin and my face numbness amd tingling is gone but not base of the head neck and shoulder. Doctors are clueless. I had a back surgery few years back amd made progress and now this. I feel like I am listening to my voice when I am talking because it sounds different all of the sudden. And my memory OMG. I had a test for a hormone million times and can't remember name. Simple tasks, recepies, what I supposed to do, spelling, reading certain words, crazy. I am tired of trying to get better. I've tried everything essential oils no meat na gluten no sugar. Eat fruits and veggies I should be the healthiest fittest person. I was running 5k mile a day weights bike but dizziness and burning head scare me. I am in same situation as you. You are not alone. I am going to see a neuro and know what they going to say give bunch of drugs and send me off. And getting rid of symptom is not getting rid of problem.

I have thyroid issues, at present hypothroidism. Have had seizures in past. And MRI recently states herniated disc in C5-C6 impiging slightly on nerve roots. Have been having burning sensations in both legs since November '13, it won't let up. For 2 mo's now been having chronic idizziness, feeling that my equilibrium is definitely off and feeling almost drunk half of times with blurred vision at times. I am having terrible lower back pain.

Neuro is at a loss has done EMG of both arms and legs and nothing, has done EEG's, MRI's, MRA's and nothing has come up. My PCP checked my throid says it's okay, no signs of sugar being off nor . What can all this be due to? Several years ago I had bursitis in right shoulder, twice on two different occasions, went away after getting shots. I also had 2 herniated discs in lower back several years ago... Started physical therapy but now have to stop due to dizziness. Will be seeing a vestibular therapist tonight.

Tx,

Mar~

I know this post is old, but I have had identical symptoms to yours for the last two years, 32 doctors and over 100k of tests, with no help...just wondering if you have made any progress or gotten a diagnosis?
Wishing you the best!

It pretty crazy that your post sounds almost exactly like my life (aside from my parents, I was fortunate to have great parents), but honestly even down to the car accidents, It's damn near close to a copy. I was diagnosed with Menier's Disease about 5 yrs ago. I have had 4 surgeries to try and help my disease. I suffer every single day from severe fatigue, dizziness/vertigo, passing out feelings, and weakness, I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, sleep apnea, and sever fatigue. Has anyone ever figured out what is wrong with you? I truly feel like sometimes the doctors are missing something. It feels as if my body is just going to give out at times. It's truly scary and I desperately hate the fight everyday.
