I used it because I got really sick. I used a lot of products & it becomes a lifestyle. Part of it is connecting with people. I've seen amazing things in their groups. If anyone doesn't go to an isagenix person not on Amazon. It is unethical and may not be real if you don't go through a consultant.

Just started using the products this week. So far all ok. I am doing it as a quick restart. 10 years ago I lost 70kgs over 2-3 years basically exercising 6 days a week and eating like a monk. I have not stopped training over the years, my body has just go older. @ 50 the body is starting to get niggles and my body clock has ticked over again. On top of that my partner was diagnosed with a GBM Grade 4 brain cancer last December. At this point my life and my focus changed to be the #1 support person - not the exercising, weight loss machine I once was. So in 7+ months I have gained 20kgs, feel sad, fat and nothing fits.

My Personal Trainer is a consultant for the products. So I caved and said i want to give it a go to help get me back in the right head space and focused on me again. I told her to remove me from the repeat order cycle. I have said it is about 30 days at a time.

This week I have had shakes, great snacks consisting of protein, eggs, rice cakes, avo, spinach, celery, hummus. Small Protein and veg for dinner. I will try a cleanse day next week (if I feel good)

I am prepared to get bored to finally see my body shrink again. I can keep you posted if you want to know how I go.

My cholesterol went DOWN to normal range when I started this 2 years ago. I went from 258 to 179. I don't remember the breakdown numbers, but my doc said they were great! So, yes, everyBODY is different. I am afraid to stop using isagenix!

I've been doing this program going on 4 months now. My first 9 days i lost 14lbs. It won't work if you're not totally committed to it. Check out all the different packages and see what you find to work best for you. After 3months i am down 45lbs. My first week i was so full of energy i felt amazing!

FWIW, I'm in week 3 and have followed the directions explicitly. My appetite has dropped considerably; it's difficult to get the amount of calories my trainer says to eat during the day because i'm not hungry. Cleanse days diffcult because of the fatigue and mental fog, and the 50g of pure carbs in the cleanse and 'snacks' with no protein or fat make me feel faintly nauseous, just as juice on an empty stomach does. Thus far, I've lost 5lbs of the 25 I'd like to lose and a few inches despite upping my exercise, a far cry from the 9-14 lbs but still progress. Long-term, I can see using the shakes for breakfast. I'll keep the intermittent fasting but figure out something that suits my body better than Cleanse for Life.

One useful thing I've discovered is that corn seems to make me retain water like a camel and bloat visibly. My cholesterol (98HDL 85LDL, 50 triglycerides) and BP (90/60) are always good when I eat low carb, so that's not unique to Isagenix in my case.

As always, each person is an individual. My experience is just one anecdote among many.

I've been using it for two months, I have followed all the rules of the product and I haven't lost any weight, not in pounds nor in inches.

well then you're not following the program properly. I have been doing this program for 7 weeks and I absolutely love it. All my siblings are on it, we have also put my mum on it. This systems is awesome and I love the fact that after the first 30 days you can adjust the program to suit your needs and your budget. I have starved 3 times on this program only because I didn't plan my time better therefore ate way later than I should have. They also say if you're hungry eattttttt....I guess you missed that bit in your pack :P

I'm on day 5 of the 30 day system. First time user and just decided to give it a go. So far, I've lost 7 pounds following the program to the letter. I'm quite happy with that so early in the program. Those saying it doesn't work either haven't tried it or are replacing their shakes with donuts beer and pizza.

Yap agree wholeheartedly..found out the hard way.....stuck to it....all I lost was money. Had 20 lbs to lose lost 2 lb. Stuff tasted AWFUL and as fake as can be. Complete and utter waste. All they want to do is sign you up as a seller...huge scam. They keep repeating the same old mantras over and over...so scripted.....save your money as other have stated.

I disagree. It provides more than weight loss, inches more and depending on how much to lose, I only have 20-25 lbs it takes longer to see on scale but I dropped 1 dress size in a month. If you average your bills, eating out and groceries, you'll find it is similar but to products but getting to know how to get started takes some research

Hi... I use Isagenix. I enjoy it... Here are some shake comparisons that might help. I know for me, I am sensitive and it's hard to find a shake that doesn't disagree with my sensitive system. I like Isagenix:

Shake Comparison- What sets Isagenix apart from the rest, you ask?
1. Shakeology: Processed Whey Protein (Isolate), Contains Suma Root which contains Ecdysterone (a banned substance for athletes)...... Also an Intestional Irritant.
2. Herbalife: Soy Protein (Isolate) it is a row crop, not organic! Protein is acid washed with heat, (Denatured) to help make it less toxic, and only 9 grams of protein.(Also the cheapest of all the shakes to make)
3. Advocare: 1st ingredient is Maltodextrin, (it is a man made sugar that is chemically derived from starch and is used in a number of different foods and sweeteners. Side effects can include anything from, chest pain, heart palpitations, high cholesterol, hypoglycemia, or excess fat if the calories from the sugar is not burned off).Soy Protein and Fructose are the next 2 ingredients! Also has GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms)......
4. Body By Vi: Soy Protein, a row crop product and loaded with toxins,
GMO"s and sweetened with Sucralose, (The majority of ingested sucralose is not broken down by the body and shown to reduce the amount of GOOD bacteria in the intestines by as much as 50%.Maltodextrin derived from GMO starch, whey protein isolatesOnly 10 Grams of poor Protein, not a meal replacement and in addition is has to be mixed with milk.
5. Slim Fast – GMO, maltodextrin, refined sugar, antibiotics, rBGH, carrageenan
6. Ensure – GMO, soy protein, maltodextrin, refined sugar, artificial colors, carrageenan
7. It Works – GMO, soy protein, maltodextrine, whey protein isolates, antibiotics, rBGH
8. Atkins – GMO, refined sugar, antibiotics, rBGH, artificial colors, carrageenan
9. Special K – GMO, soy protein, maltodextrin, refined sugar, antibiotics, rBGH, artificial colors, carrageenan
10. Isogen – GMO, maltodextrin, refined sugar, whey protein isolate, antibiotics, rBGH, artificial colors
11. Pure Protein – GMO, refined sugar, whey protein isolate, antibiotics, rBGH, artificialcoloring, carrageenan
12. Muscle Milk – GMO, maltodextrin, refined sugar, whey protein isolate, heavy metals (arsenic and lead), antibiotics, rBGH, artificial coloring, carrageenan
13. Youngevity Slender FX -only 105 calories so not a meal replacement, use soy and whey proteins, no source given for whey, so probably low grade from U.S., low carbs, Sweetened with Steviol (stevia)
14. The Shaklee 180 Energizing Smoothies- Their protein blend contains soy protein concentrate and soy protein isolate. Rules them out immediately. It's not a true meal replacement by itself. They suggest mixing it with milk to bring calories up for replacing meals. Cost is $2.72 per serving yielding 16g of protein.
15. The Physique Shake- Their protein blend contains Milk and Whey protein isolate, both of which are denatured. Rules them out yet again. It's a protein supplement, not meal replacement. Cost is $2.22 per serving yielding 14g of protein.
16. Syntrax Nectar Protein: only 100 calories so it can't be a meal replacementcontains soy protein along with whey proteincontains Sucralose is an artificial sweetenercontains Hydrolyzed wheat which is really just another way of saying MSG
17. Arbonne shakes are to low in calories (160) and very low in nutrition, most only having 15% of the RDA (a few as high as 20%). Very high in sodium at 480 mg.
18. MonaVie - contains soy, very expensive, only 9gr of protein, not enough calories for a "meal replacement" so they suggest you add milk to it, making it even more expensive, Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Hydrolysate NOT Hormone Free Whey, (whey concentrate is BEST) Whey source not given and since it contains hormones at best it is probably a grade 2 or 3 whey protein. Contains Artificial Sweeteners and/or Flavors.
Think about what you put in your body! If it is not all natural, 100% chemical free and contains no artificial anything. You should not be putting it into your body!
And the Products that we in our family are Isagenix!
Isagenix: Undenatured Grade 7 Whey Protein. No unnatural products.
Complete nutrition for a meal replacement. 240 calories prepared. Has all 90 Building Blocks your Body needs everyday. 242 Nutrients and ALL ORGANIC! NO SOY, NO GMO's, NO SUCRALOSE, NO MALTODEXTRIN
