Well, if you think about it, you really don't need Herbal life to loose weight. They have you taking out 2 of your meals and replacing it with shakes. You can take a daily multivitamin and either make your shakes yourself or buy them from a company like Herbal life.
Then on top of that you still have to be active and eat right. So obviously you are going to loose weight when you take 2 meals out of your day. Most of this diet stuff is a gimmick but if it motivates you then do it. We can also cut down the portions we eat. That has a lot to do with it too. We eat huge portions, we eat out, and we don't move, and therefore we end up gaining a lot of weight.
It is all about self discipline, changing eating habits and making small changes to loose X amount of pounds.

For many people it sounds to me that its the shakes that tast nasty well i am aso on herbalife and to be honest yeah the shakes are horrible when only mixed with water or milk but when you make a real shake out of them they are not half bad a really filling also. you can mix the shake mix with almost anything really you can evn make pies and all sorts of stuff with the mix. i my self have lost about 10 pounds so far and my mother has lost 5-10 pounds but its not just about weight loss its about becoming healthyand havng the energy to get thrugh the day too.

hello, yes herbalife does realy work and is just not for loosing weath but is also used for many things. But if you cant afford buying the whole product there are nutrion clubs that cell the sertin amount that you need only for 4$ and they serve aloe vera the green tea and the shake.and also its alot cheaper that way.

I've been on it for a week and only lost a pound n been quite hungry n missing eating proper food. It worked for me many years ago but for the amount of cash I've spent so far and already running out of stuff it seems incredibly expensive for one measly pound of weightloss! I'm pretty disappointed considering all the huge weightloss stories I've read and bloody hungry!!! Feel a bit conned tbh.

Here is a good way to make the shake herbalife junkies who say the shakes are nasty.
Get a blender, put 8 ounces of water, 2 scoops of the flavor of your choice and 5 ice cubes =)
blend it for about 2 minutes!
It makes it thick, cold, and creamy, its not bad at all actually.
I also put the protein powder in mine.

Well I tried it and lost a few pounds and inches... then I stopped taking it and completely stopped watching my weight and I gained it back.. I think it was only because like I said I started eating a lot of junk food. I plan on starting again tomorrow! Let us know if ur wife tried it and If it worked for her?

I am fairly new to herbalife. It definitely is going to take some time to get used to but I know people who use it and have seen results. The shakes were really gross at first but I found that I like the vanilla shake with skim milk and then I put in a little bit of Hersheys sugar free syrup. Just using a little bit of that has made a big difference in the taste. I also enjoy the tea I drink that twice a day. And to make the tea taste better I use a little crystal light with it or if im going to have hot tea I put a tea bag in it!

Hi, Like many people I have been on & off diets for a few years, always successful in losing weight (luckily!) but then gaining the weight back on when I come off of the diets & that is the mistake... I came off of the diet! To lose weight & keep it off you have to make a LIFETIME change in your eating & excercise habits, you can't just go on a diet for a while then go back to old habits when you reach your goal weight ~ obviously you will put the weight back on, afterall that's how you became overweight in the 1st place wasn't it?
One of my friends has been using Herbalife & selling Herbalife for a few years now. He uses alot of their products & is the picture of health. He's always praised the products but never pushed them ~ in his words "the product sells itself, when you see the results in front of you you'll want to try it too!" & to be fair he was right, I've seen the results on friends of mine & they look great & are healthy too! So I decided to give it a go, I have replaced 2 of my meals with the formula 1 shakes, I add the formula 3 protein powder to each one & I eat a healthy meal. I also drink the teas as they are suposedly good for fat burning, so worth a try!
So far my results are great, I started off at 217lbs & within 3 weeks I have lost 16lbs plus an overall 5 inches off of my body, 2 inches on my waist, 1 inch of each thigh & half an inch of each arm... can't complain at that!
As other people have said the shakes can be a bit yucky, quite bland really but most of the time I add some fruit to mine. In the mornings I have a Vanilla shake & add some berries... strawberries, blueberries, raspberries.... basically whatever is on offer at the time :-) adding a banana & some strawberries is lovely!! This way I have my shake & some of my 5 a day too, I find this stops me needing to snack mid morning too. I tend to have my meal at lunchtime, just my preference & it's convenient for me, a stirfry or some chicken & roasted veggies something like that, then I have my othershake at dinner time. I also drink a tea mid-morning & mid-afternoon, but I like to mix it in cold water rather than hot.
Everyone is different & obviously Herbalife isn't for everyone but if you really are determined to change your life for the better then it is worth every penny & pound! I intend to continue with my plan until I reach my goal weight & then continue to replace one meal a day to help maintain it, probably breakfast as I always used to skip that but I do love my shakes now, just like smoothies really!
If you're reading this then you are probably thinking about giving it a go so I'd say go for it! I'm happy to chat to anyone who is interested in how I'm getting on & would like an online buddy! I just started herbalife today for the 2nd time, the first time I used it I lost 20lbs in a month from the cleanser. It worked very well.. a little tough but definitely worth it, a little pricey but you pretty much use the money youd spend on grocerys. If it didnt work for me the first time I wouldnt of bought it again!

But if you want the fast version, yes it does work, you lose weight like crazy, specially in the beginning. Is it a life long solution to weight management? well, I don't know if you want to be taking supplements and pills the rest of your life. I have been trying herbalife for 9 days now and I am impressed. I have lost 15 pounds so far! :-D I do the same thing every day... I wake up and drink 1 cup of the concentrated tea.. then before I go to work (about 2 hours later) I drink a shake (I add splenda to make it taste better.) I eat a some carrots and celery 2 hours later.. about 3 hours after that I eat a regular meal (try for healthier when I can resist lol.) Then when I get home 4 hours later I drink another shake. I am sure I am mostly loosing water weight, but I hope the results continue... I want to loose 75 pounds total so lets see how it goes.. so far I am impressed.. will keep you all posted if results change!
