My mother had breast cancer 13 years ago and was treated and cancer free. About a year and a half ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which started in the bladder. She finished her chemo about nine months ago. She recently told me that she has residual cancer cells in either her liver or kidney. She was very non-chalant about it and when I asked what the oncologist was going to do about it she said that they hadn't even talked about treatment. Is this something she needs to be concerned about and what kind of treatment can be done?
