Many people will say no to this question.. but i belive that ingredients in the protein will cause problems in some people. also depends you r age shape and condition. best to check with a really good doctor(cause most suck) make sure they check hormone levels, so blood test is a must.

I agree with the first comment that Whey protein could affect erection capability but not in the fashion suggested. Bottom line is that Whey Protein has constituents that could significantly increase both the average person's sexual desire and capacity. Among Whey proteins's key constituents are Arginine (which works in a similar fashion to Viagra i.e. it improves blood circulation including circulation to the penis) and L-Tyrosine which tends to increase sexual drive http://www.nutritional-supplements-guide.com/benefits-of-l-tyrosine.html.

Whey protein is best consumed when doing some kind of exercise program, which in turns tends to magnify the increased sexual potency effect through improved overall physical condition.

Suggest you don't take too much however. Too much of anything is good for nothing. Suggest you consult both your Doctor (if you suffer from any pre-existing illness) plus a good sports/health nutritionist. That would be my suggestion.

Please note that some people are allergic to Whey protein. Should that occur in your case there are others you might try, for example Hemp Protein or Rice Protein.

Hope this response helps.

Anyway there's no kind of protein that contains creatin , if you bought creatine as well you will find in the list of ingredients 0% proteine or PROTEINE doesn't have creatine in his ingredients ( as i know ) . Protein has constituents that could significantly increase both the average person's sexual desire and capacity. I think that your boyfriend has used a bad quality of protein ... there is chinese ones and they could kill ...
I used 3 kind of whey proteine . And I bought creatin not from sport shop but from pharmacy , it gives me energy while training ...
protein has only one bad effect which can hurts kidneys ... and to avoid that anyone should drink a lot of water after using protein ...
you have to tak'em to a doctor as soon as u can ... after all after using all this my penis size has increased about 6 cm ...

Whey protein contains tyrosine; Tyrosine increases dopamine which increases human thought to be stonger during physical activity (workout, running, or sex),Dopamine also plays a role in addiction, because it is part of the brain's system of motivation. Dopamine, a neurotransmitter that stimulates the reward centers in the brain of animals and humans, is derived from the amino acid tyrosine, thus explaining the link between tyrosine and dopamine. Most supplements that claim to boost dopamine production within the brain often contain the amino acid tyrosine, which first converts to L-dopa before converting into the actual neurotransmitter.

Whey protein also contains L-arginine which makes the blood flow faster by thinning the blood, L-Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide (NO) in the human body. In the 1990s, scientists discovered that not only is NO an essential compound that helps blood circulation, but it is important to normal sexual function in both men and women. Without arginine there would be no NO, and without NO, men would not be able to have erections.

Arginine has been shown to improve blood flow to the genital area by dilating blood vessels and helping the penis to enlarge to its full capacity, thus increasing the size, hardness, and frequency of erections.

Whey protein impoves my performance all around.

first of all, as you stated you used to use fat burner pills, which contain a hugeeeeeee amount of caffeine, therefore they make you facing difficulties in falling asleep. but if you followed the direction of how to use them u'll notice an advice stating that you should not take any dose 6 hours earlier from going to bed. So, just follow the instructions & u'll be ok, ohhhhhh forgot, you have to cycle a a month after two months of using em.

Regarding the protein, as long as you are having some accumulated fat around you belly & chest, therefore look for a zero fat & zero carb Whey isolate Protein, drink lotssssssss of water & maintain a good diet, & u'll be fine :)

Optimum nutrition whey is the worst stuff I ever took in my life. It made the glands in my neck swell up and cut my libido by about 45 percent. If I touch anything with whey in it it triggers it off again and take ages to get better

I've noticed a huge libido dropoff whenever I take Whey Protein as well.

I knew it was't all in my head, and the fact its happening to other people confirms it to me that some peoples bodys don't respond well to Whey Protein.

I would like a scientific reason for the effect on the few of us, but I guess we'll have to wait and avoid Whey protein in the meantime.

I'm nearly sure the cause of libido loss is caused from l glutamine as it degrades to ammonia when in water too long and poisons your blood. In the book "Optimum Sports Nutrition" by Dr.Michael Colgan he explains this and says that if you even swallow l glutamine dry on a spoon that it degrades to ammonia before it reaches your stomach. A friend of mine was training race horses in England, they gave whey protein to some horses and it also screwed up their libido. They even bit and kicked the mares in frustration. I also lost strength in my calves from On's whey which still hasn't come back after 3 yrs or more, also affected my muscles in my right eye. I must look into visiting a lawyer about this

If thats what's causing the libido loss, I wonder why it only happens to a few of us, while the majority don't have this kind of effect.

I do notice some initial benefits from whey protein, but then a day or two later the side effects start kicking in; the low libido as well as a feeling of numbness. The last time I took whey protein, it actually got me sick. Not sure if it's a coincidence, but I wouldn't doubt it. (Mind you I'am not allergic to any kind of milk product as well.)

About a year and a half ago, I started taking whey protein, and noticed my sex drive slowly getting lower and lower. I didn't make the whey--sexdrive connection at first, all I knew was my once out of control libido was almost gone. I experimented and concluded that when I would stop taking whey protein, my libido would start to come back. Then I would think to myself that it was all in my head, and take the whey again. I wold reap some benefits and the the loss of libido would follow every time.

Just curious as to how strong your libido is when you stop taking Whey protein for a while. For me, my libido hasn't been as strong as it was before I started taking the whey, but then again I also was taking whey protein intermittently, so maybe I was't giving my body enough time to heal.
