I just bought some acid whey protein, but i'm not 100% sure how to mix it, it says i need to use 30g of the powder, so thats one ounce so ill use 1 ounce of powder, but how much water should i use? do i just guess? and also, to everyone out there who drink protein shakes, do you also put other stuff in there, not just water and the powder?

Look, it is important to take both carbs and protein after a work out. It is said that a ratio of 4:1 (carbs:protein) would be the best. On each 4 grams of carbs should go 1 gram of protein. Protein is used for repairing muscles damaged during exercise and carbs replenish whatever glycogen was used up during running. It is important to take this combo max two hours after your training. YOu can take either foods or drinks but drinks are easier to digest and easier to get the right ratio.

As for making a shake, people add fruits and either milk or yogurt. You can just buy those already-fixed protein meals because I found whey shakes not to be so tasty :-(

i've just got some digital kitchen scales, before i had them, i was just having 3 or 4 tablespoons of whey protein and filling the rest u with water, but now i realise i havnt been taken enough at all, 30g is a sh*t load of protein, it will take around 15 tablespoons toreach 30g, and that is alot to drink, are my scales correct? if so i dont think i could drink all of it with just water, the taste is to weird, ill deffinitly have to add milk and fruit etc, if anyone can tell me around how many tablespoons of whey protein reaches 30g.
thx.

Look, just add 1 to 2 scoops of whey powder into a blender, 1- 1 1/2 cups of pure water OR skim milk OR low fat yogurt and a cup of frozen fruit (any fruit is great) and that's it.
