Firstly I'd like to thank Dr.Artem for the post although having the mthfr gene mutation can give you side effects it is my personal opinion that this is not what's causing our situation. If it was you'd have side effects from every type of protein, whether it be chicken, eggs, tuna, steak, etc etc. When I was a teenager I took twinlab gainers fuel, Casilan 90 which is a different form of milk protein from whey and other brands of casein protein and I took creatine monohydrate with zero side effects, so if it was the mthfr gene I would have got side effects way before I ever took whey protein. Before I took whey protein I was in perfect health. Although I haven't got the test to see if I have the gene mutation I don't believe I have for the reasons I explained. Our problem is specifically whey protein and once you've taken it in large amounts your body remembers it and kicks off at any little amount such as ship cruise guy with the Parmesan wings etc etc. People have reported improvements using vitamin b and if so keep it up. At the moment I'm getting side effects from methylfolate, for a good few hours after taking one I feel wiped and slightly out of it, I have read online that methylfolate can have bad side effects and if you're taking it start on a small dose and build it up, I started on 1000ug when there was smaller pills in 400ug size, I may switch to folic acid as there's only need for methylfolate if you have the mthfr gene. I still believe our problem could be an immune system response and there are hundreds of ways your immune system can affect your health. We'll see how we do on vitamins for a while and take it from there, hope everyone is well, M
Have you noticed any improvement at all even a bit since fasting??
