I am following this thread for quite some time. I am having the same trouble as you all. However, after trying all kind of multi vitamins etc, i am trying the natural route, i wont say I am cured, but surely improved.
It may be just simply a case of low testesterone. When free testesterone in body is less the desire for eveything is less. It is a possibilty that when we eat whey, the protien combines with these free T and hence low libido.
I can't prove it, it is another theory, i am just trying the natural ways to boost it. We all know natural food gets absorbed easily and is always better then supplements.
I am eating below in my diet and I see minor improvment. It just a week and i am hopeful if not 100%, things will at least get better. I am hopeful with what i have seen so far.
One caution, dont over do anything.
Here is what I include everday in my diet.
1) 10-12 soaked almonds overnight. Peel off its cover and eat with breakfast.
2) brazlian nuts (3-4)
3) pumpkin seeds ( 10-20 gms)
4) sunflower seeds (10-20 gms)
5) 1 glass of milk
6) vitamin d - since I am vegetarian, i take it milk enhnacesd with Vitd D)
D is must. But again not in large quantity.
7) 1 banana , orange or apple
8) others nuts, pecan, penuts etc.
8) water , as much as you can. Dont overdo.
9) Good sleep.
These are all rich in vitamin and minerals. I take them in right quantity. I Don't overeat them. Let my body absorb them.
Keep it going for a month or so. Pretty sure you will see the results.

I took whey for 2 months or so. I have this problem for almost 8 months or so. I had numbness in legs also, but figured it was calcium and viramin d . So regular milk helped.

It is kind of T only which binds with estrogen and androgen. It has to in optimal quantity in body. Not less not more. A high value of SHBG indicates overall high value of T in test report. However, we need to look for high value of free T in our report to see if that is normal.
