Ijust want to add yet another negative testimonial. I started taking nitro tech whey protein 3 weeks ago and lost all sexual desire and have suffered erectile disfunction problems. I have to add that I had problems in the past when I was really overweight and didnt excercise at all and smoked a lot. I quit 4 months ago, lost 40 pounds and started excercising and was feeling amazing sexually and had regular erections. 2 weeks after starting with the protein shakes I felt I lost all my progress. Today Im stopping with ther protein I really really hope it is that since I want a normal sex life and I want to please my girlfriend. Lets wait and hope eliminating the protein hekps me get back my sex drive and ability to hold erections.

I have been following this thread for about a month now and share my story. I have the same problem as all of you. I had been taking whey protein and working out for about 20 years now (I am 35 years old) with no prior problems. For the last two years I have been working out on and off because of such a busy work schedule. I would work out for about a month straight where I would take whey protein powder every day and off for about two months when I wouldn't take it all. I started to notice that when I was on the protein shake I had trouble achieving a full erection. I didn't think much of it at the time because it only had a minor affect and was able to recover fairly quickly after I stopped taking the protein. At the beginning of 2014 it started getting more sever at a very fast rate. To a point where I could not get an erection at all. I knew it had to be the Whey causing the problem, but was only about 90% sure, so I decided to experiment. Big Mistake. When I was back up to 100%, I took whey and worked out for a month straight and eat very heathy with no soft drinks or junk food of any kind. After a couple days into the experiment I could tell a loss of libido and trouble getting erections. Since I "thought" I would recover quickly as I did in the past, I kept taking they whey to see what would happen. I got to the point where I was getting sever headaches and almost throwing up 10 minutes after taking the protein and would last for about three hours. I had absolutely no libido and couldn't get an erection to save my life (no morning wood either). The shake also made me super depressed, in a bad mood all the time, and lazy. I have concluded 100% that, for me, it is they whey protein. Problem is I went to deep and am having a really hard time recovering. I have been to a General Doctor and a Urologist. I told them that it was from the Whey and they just laughed and told me it was in my head. My testosterone level was normal at just above 600. The Urologist prescribed me the 5 mg Cialis which it took daily and it worked great at getting my erection but didn't help my libido.
I have cut out all milk products. Anything with milk in it (cheese, pancakes, ect....everything). I have recently stopped taking the Cialis to be able to better monitor my recovery. After about 8 weeks of cutting out all milk I am about 50% recovered. I have been reading a lot about Milk Allergies (different from Lactose intolerance). Milk allergies are allergic reactions to the protein in milk (Whey). Milk allergies can be developed and can pop up at any age. Once allergic you must cut out all milk products. Could it be the we all have Milk allergies? For those of you that are hovering around 80%, I would suggest cutting out all milk products and see if that helps. Whey protein is in almost anything that contains milk, not just protein shake powder. I have also concluded that I have had a slight milk allergy my whole life and maybe it has just gotten more sever. I have always had trouble concentrating, but now that I have cut out all milk, my metal state and energy level has improved to a level that I never had before. Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to possibly help you guys out with what I have learned. Please keep this thread alive so we can get to the bottom of this.
