Thank God its not just me! I am thinking Hydrocortozone cream will help. I have this issue as well it just popped upbout of no where about a month ago. I got tested for STI/D and its not that and the symptoms dont allign with jock itch ala fungal. There is no visable rash pr irratation. My Dad suffered from eczema or maybe it was psoriasis on his knuckles and elbows for a long part of my childhood but again I don't have any redness or rash like scalyness or anyhthing! Its just the sides of my scrotum, mostly the RIGHT side haha for me but its not confined. My symptoms: this ITCH that is insanely insatiable and it flakes off white so there will be dry white patches sometimes but I itch there and it flakes off. Again NO RASHES nor STD/I (I got tested because of this itch!) also I know it's not jock itch because there is no rash also the symptoms dont align. Sorry repeating myself but the main sollace I find here is that I am not alone! Phew! I was really scared this makes me feel a little better. I was attributing it to something like chapped skin because I have put on probably 5 lbs now in my late 20's and as a line cook I am sweating and moving for 8 hours a day. I wonder if ot could be ecszema like someone mentioned. I think hydrocortizone cream aka topical steeoid is really the only over the counter treatment. Also I found relief with VASOLINE and NEOSPORIN really helped. I am going to try the Aloe Vera like someone suggested. Just a tip FYI when you buy aloe vera make sure that aloe vera is listed as the main ingredient after water and dont get it if the aloe is listed after more than 2 other ingredients ESPECIALLY dont get it if there is alcohol listed before the aloe because then it will HURT/BURN you. I find that the cheap brands like the store brands at Target or Walmart (yes I know I hate those corporations but it is really hard to find good aloe! And being a pale white person I really need good aloe vera. ) do not buy the banana boat aloe because if you look the aloe is like the LAST ingredient. Also dont buy non gel aloe, the creams are c**p. Especially for sunburns. If you put oil on a burn it will just keep COOKING YOU! Also you dont want to put creams and oils into irratated skin, stick to gels like neosporin, pure aloe vera (e.g. Ingredients read "water, aloe vera...") and vasoline. Last tip! Dont itch with dirty nails! Staf infections are commonly caused by itching with dirty nails! THATS WHY YOUR MOM SAID NOT TO PICK YOUR NOSE. :D clean your nails and the area and then itch away feels so good haha then slather the vasoline on that yo and fall asleep like a baby... Well a baby without diaper rash haha good luck my fellow men!
