:'( I have had inner ear problems for about 18yrs now, i have mentioned this to my doctor on many occassions and no one seems to know or want to do anything about it, it started off with wart like things in my ears, and then just escalated from there i have had them burnt out and frozen and still nothing has helped it, about 4 yrs ago i started getting a pain in the kneck so to speak, lol, which later turned into a lump i was told the it was hushimoto syndrome by one doctor and then when i moved to another area and told my new doctor he thought it was a joke cause he had not heard of that before, i then moved to another country had it checked all ova again and was told it was my thyroid, i had it fully removed and i still get the pain in my kneck only more fierce than before, and i still get the original pain that i was getting when my ears first started playing up 18 years ago, the pain goes from my ear all the way down my kneck to the spot where the lump is.................if i press from my ear all the way down to my kneck its very painful. Have tried to get a Doctor to take notice of what i am saying and have even been put on a waiting list for a specialist which was over 10 yrs ago, they just keep sending letters asking me if i would like to stay on the waiting list, OMG, its like having a earache that takes up the one half of my entire head 24/7 some days are better than others :'( i so don't know what to do now.................any help would be much appreciated as all my complaints, winges, moans whatever you want to call it seems to fall on deaf ears,
PS I dont take pain killers any more for fear of becoming addicted.
