Question: I'm trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful as of rigtht now. After this last time of having sex, I laid in bed for an hour. I went to use the bathroom (#1) and I noticed alot of fluid coming out. The fluid is milky and clear. I'm sure some of it is cervical fluid, but I also wanted to know if it is then all semen or just the ejaculatory fluid the helps the sperm get into the cervix. I realize that some sperm probably exit the body, but I mean, in general is it just the fluid that helps it out?

Later on I went to the bathroom and that time the fluid was mostly clear.

I also happen to know I was ovulating because I used those ovulation predictor sticks.

Thanks!
I think that it was sperm that came out and not ejaculatory fluid because not all girls have ejaculatory fluid and even if you did have it, it wouldn't have showed an hour later.

Even if some sperm did get out, you can get pregnant.

Also, don't get discouraged if you don't get pregnant this time. Not every ovulation and fertilization end up with pregnancy. The reasons could be immature sperm, immature egg, the egg's inability to attach to the endometrium, etc

I wish you good luck!
