Hi,, I am a 36 year old female with endometriosis and fubrocystic breasts. For the last few months I have had itching on the left side, breast area and down the side tward the back. Now the right side as well. I saw a Dr last year because it was just the left bothering me whaich I also had green discgarge from. They said that I had a lymph node in the breast and an asymetrical density that was not to worry about and floow up in 6 months with another mammo. The last few months BOTH breasts have been "growing" to the point my husnabd even noticed. Now the green discharge is back on the left (I have to squeeze for it to come out) and clear discharge on the right. I did notice they are more troublesome during my "period" but with the endometriosis I can have my perios several times a month, and also have chocolate cysts that tend to burst a week before my period...Ima mess. Now both breasts itch...and it is itchy all the way around to my back, it drives me insane Im constanlty sctraching. Is this anything to worry about?

Hi there,

This looks like an old post but just in case you haven't sought help or for the benefit of others who may end up reading this post:

Your symptoms sound a lot like warning signs of inflammatory breast cancer.  Most women have never heard of it...we are taught to look for a lump and get breast exams and mammograms...but this cancer often does not show up as a lump and does not show up on a mammogram.  Please pass this info on to all the women in your life--you might save a life!

Mammograms are not ideal for women under 40.  Our breasts are too dense.  I would request an ultrasound and a biopsy ASAP and for a referral to a breast specialist if you have any of the below signs:

If you have any of these symptoms, it is vitally important that you see your Dr ASAP and don't let them brush you off.  This type of cancer is the fastest growing cancer (symptoms sometimes show up overnight and it spreads to other organs sometimes in a matter of weeks) If it's not caught early, patients have a very low survival rate.  Have your dr. do the tests to RULE it out!!!
