I have been diagnosed with PCOS, I have been taking Diane 35 for almost 3 months. I was just wondering if anyone has any past good, bad experiences with it. Its working to keep my cycles undercontrol which is good.
any info would be great!
Thanks, Canadain Girl

I have a friend who is taking it right now actually and I just IMed her about it for your benefit. She said that it seems to work pretty well for her after everything sort of balanced out (she had to switch birth control) but she reports that her symtpoms have definitely gone down and she's having a great time with it. She also wants to know when you were diagnosed with PCOS? Heh anyway! Hopefully this helps!
Thank you!!!
I was diagnosed with PCOS 4 months ago, i have known for awhile though, I did some reasearch myself, and figured thats what I had. I was too scared/nervous etc to go see the doctor(Male) I was afraid I was gonna have to show my body etc, and I wasn't too fond of that! But I finally went, I had to get some tests done for work, so I figured what the heck...and he just sent me to a Gyno. she is really good. Speaking of which I have to go back soon, to talk about my pills she put me on for 3 months, see how its working and then I can always get more, if it is, or see what my new blood tests say etc.
So its been 4 months since I have been professionaly diagnosed, but known for a while.
Thanks, Melissa

I'm happy to hear that you were able to go and see a gyno that you can trust who is actually a woman instead so that you feel more comfortable. Are you on Diana 35 now? how is it working out for you? are you doing better now?
I was pretty impressed with my Gyno, I have only seen her the once. She put me on a 3month trial for the pills and everything was working good, I was getting my periods regular and some of the symptoms seemed to start to subside. BUT...I was suppsed to book an appointment to go see my Gyno after the 3 months was up, and I forgot to call, and now that I'm done my 3 months and I have an appointment booked for the end of July, the REceptionist said I might not be able to start my pills again until then! FRIG! She said the Doctor might not want to renew by subscription with out seeing me....I'm going to try to go to the pharmacy and see if they can get me a new subscription, but I might just have to wait.
The doctors office said my Doctor should be calling me (this was Monday) to let me know, but I have heard nothing yet.
I'm happy with the pills over all.

It's good to hear that things are at least going well with the pills! Were you able to renew your prescription okay or did you have to stop using the birth control for now?
Hi,
Nope, Doctor still hasn't called back, I will try giving her a call tomorrow again. So for right now I'm on no birth control for a little while...good job I'm not sexually active!!
The problem now is.....when will or if I will cycle until I get back on the pills again, it can be a complete guessing game for right now.
