I constantly hear my pulse beat, usually loud and fast, in my ears.
Dr. said it is common. It isn't going away. should I be concerned.
sometimes it is squishy.

Hi, Hope this is not the case but, I have had vicarious experience through my mother. She experienced the sound of her heart beating in her ears and was diagnosed with having an arterial plague buildup in that area, restricting the normal flow of blood to her brain. What she was hearing was blood being forced through the restrictions at high velocity. An operation presented a very high risk of stroke. Unfortunately, this was a pre-cursor to a spread-out series of mini-strokes that eventually lead to her death.
NOT to be taken lightly!

I have the same thing It just started recently. I have my blood pressure under control. Could it be a blocked artery? Should I have it checked?
I'm recently diagnosed with hypertension and taking ACE inhibitor. Now, constantly, hearing sounds in both ears replicating a heart beat. Is that normal?
