You probably won't get this since it has been over a year, but I thought I'd go ahead anyway. Tell you what you should try next, go and have an in-home sleep study done. It's less than $300 and it guarantees results. I did it, and they found I had severe sleep apnea, like so bad they told me I need to take care of it asap. I was dipping down to 85% blood oxygen level with over 40 episodes per hour. So, I was not sleeping, and all this psychic c**p going on because your mind can't dream at night to work it out for you. So anxiety, yep, panic, you name it. Got this treated (I wear a custom mouth splint it's not too bad) and I actually sleep now, so imagine after 20 years plus and now I am sleeping soundly. Needless to say I am getting better, still not 100% but no more ER, no more panic attacks... I have some leftover residual anxiety but it is from PTSD from a major accident in 1996. Still have not resolved that one.

I have been like yourself, with much of the same symptoms, on and off for almost 4 years now. I have had every blood test they can think of, x-rays, cat scans etc. When I was told that they could find nothing wrong, I also kept saying over and over, that is impossible. How can I feel this lousy and suffer with all different symptoms with no physical cause. Well, I now know that it is not physical ,it is Anxiety. I have anti-anxiety meds that I take when I cannot rid myself of symptoms. I have tried supplements and herbals. After trying about 50 different supplements and herbal remedies, I only found one that helps. It is Lemon Balm. I take one or two when I feel symptoms coming on. I also take magnesium- 400 mgs. 3 times a day. Iam also on Elavil- 20 mgs for sleep. That is a prescription. I exercise almost every day. I can now say that I am somewhat better. But unfortunately, anxiety is something that is a battle ever day. i hope I have been somewhat of a help to anyone suffering from anxiety. Do not give up hope. It can be managed, and liveable. But it does not go away completely. But do not give up. Seek a therapist, that can prescribe anti-depressants and anti anxiety meds. But please beware and cautious, do not overuse the anti anxiety meds. They are addictive. Use them only when absolutely necessary.

Hello..I know you posted long time ago but your symptoms are similiar to mine and i was wondering where things stand now?
I have all classic signs of HH and im sure ive damaged my vagus nerve resulting in all of these symptoms. My drs keep relying on depression/anxiety as diagnosis but i dont fully buy it.? The hell is so bad.
Ive changed my lifestyle but not much comfort...i have heard the aloa vera gel works wonders so am going to try it.?
I hope things work out for you.

Hi everyone! Just thought I would say a message, I know these posts are so old now but I am the girl who originally wrote this!! I have just stumbled upon this when looking up something for work! I still suffer badly from feeling ill everyday and I still feel like I'm dying but honestly I think I have bad anxiety and stress disorder that I just can't get rid of. I have had countless tests and hospital referrals and nothing has ever come up apparently I am very healthy, this is so difficult to live with especially trying to get others to understand, however I'm still alive all these years later so i must not have a disease like I think I do. I just learned to cope with it and try and not let it take over my life. I have an amazing life and I am thankful everyday for it, I am lucky to be healthy and happy and in a nice place in the world compared to others, but I must say reading back through all these comments does make me feel much better, that I am not the only one in the world who feels this way. It's nice to know your not alone!! Thank you for all the replies and I wish you all the love and happiness in the future. Xx

Try cutting dairy products completely out of your diet. No cheese, no yogurt... nothing. Also, try cutting gluten out of your diet too. There is a link between people being allergic to proteins in milk (whey and casein), that causes panic attacks and anxiety. Also, gluten allergy causes accelerated heart rates, stomach issues, confusion (brain fog), light headedness, etc. I have panic disorder and removing these things from my diet did not completely eradicate my attacks, but the intensity and the frequency diminished greatly. Also, remove stimulants such as caffeine (coffee, sodas, etc.) from your diet. When you have panic disorder, then last thing you need in your system are stimulants.

I had my first experience of panic attacks around 17. I remember I thought I was going to end up crazy. Once I remember I fainted and for a while I was in shock. Doctors check everything and nothing they found nothing. My mum thought is all in my head. I felt totally alone. I went to visit an endocrinologist and he said because I had an hormonal disbalance I was like that but also my life was going through a lot so there was s reason for my panic attacks.
Now I will recommend you to get check again maybe your thyroid is not working well. If not practice meditation that helped me and still does as I still have panics attacks. I drink chamomile tea and Valerian root. Try to go for walks long ones and seek for a counselor. Good luck I hope you get better soon...

Get tested for autoimmune disease, possibly see a rheumatologist. They are difficult to diagnose and many go years undiagnosed.
