Hi I know this post was a while ago now but I'm so seeing how you are now. I had a massive panic attack 2 weeks ago and ended up im A&E. I was so scared. They gave me blood tests, urine tests, an x-ray and an ECG and all was clear. But 2 weeks later I'm still struggling to breathe. Everyday I'm feeling the need to gasp for air and it's like I can't get enough. Was yours due to anxiety or was it something else. Even though the doctors say this it's impossible to believe when you feel so dizzy and breathless for so long after the attack. Any advice appritiated.

Did you take an antidepressant? I did just for a couple weeks and am worried it messed with my brain chemistry. Had headache for almost a year and vicious insomnia.

I am a 42 year old female and I have been going through the exact same things as you for 20 years now or more I lost all my hair at the age of 25 which the doctor said were from Stress and Anxiety continually got worse extreme fatigue exhausting I knew something was wrong and I just kept telling my doctor that something is wrong I know it is something is really wrong nobody should feel this weak and tired all the time and feel like you're going to pass out constantly finally she sent me up to see a rheumatologist who are my very first visit took 13 vials of blood came back and said that I was HLA B27 positive so she sent me for an MRI and confirm that I have something called ankylosing spondylitis she said that she wanted to put me on a tnf medication and so she put me on enbrel within three months I started getting blisters on my hands and feet and so my rheumatologist thought it was from the enbrel so she took me off of it and sent me to see a dermatologist. The dermatologist confirmed that it was from a disease called sneeden Wilkinson disease. and so my rheumatologist put me on a new tnf medication called Humira my blisters continue to get worse when one blister with pop and other would form underneath it and when that would pop another would form underneath its so my dermatologist then did more biopsies and cultures and now I got a call from him yesterday saying that he is at a loss and cannot find out what is going on with me so he is sending me to Washington University in St Louis Missouri in hopes that they can find something. I wish you All the best of luck in finding out what is going on with you. Chronic fatigue and unexplained pain and weakness is miserable I would not wish this life on my worst enemy

I feel the same way I've had anxiety for almost 3 years sending me to the hospital multiple times thinking that I was dying I'm not the healthiest twenty-four-year-old but I'm working on myself little by little I've done a lot of tests anywhere from blood to a heart monitor going to a Cardiologist doing a stress test multiple CAT scans and also multiple doctor visits and everything comes back okay for the past couple days I felt headaches randomly which come in and out last maybe 1 to 5 Seconds or I'll get a sharp pain in the back of my head or my neck. Sometimes I can control it sometimes I don't even know if it's anxiety and I think the worst. A lot of people deal with this and they don't realize how hard it is all I can say from experience keep moving forward always try to better your life.

I am 69 and had anxiety and panic attacks at different times before in my life, but NOT the other symptoms described in other posts. I agree that anxiety alone would not cause all of these problems. I take no "old age" meds, and was very healthy until recently when I went through 2 unnecessary surgeries (doctors lied about the need), and found out I had had hypothyroidism for years. I live on healthy salads, so NO reason for continuing weight gain. The symptoms described sound like blood sugar problems: either hypoglycemia or thyroid problems which can involve blood sugar. Thyroid blood tests can come back with false negatives so google the symptoms and see how many you have. I had them all. I practically had to beg my GP for Armour Raw Thyroid, which stopped my unnecessary weight gain and "fat" tongue. Hypothyroidism can make you feel extremely fatigued with all of the other symptoms mentioned, as can hypoglycemia, though not as many of the symptoms. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

I have most if not all of the same symptoms. I am 69 now, and had panic attacks earlier in my life, but not now. I did not have the other symptoms, so I doubt that anxiety alone would cause them. I take no "old age" meds, and was totally healthy until recently when I went through 2 unnecessary surgeries (doctors lied), and found out I had been hypothyroid for years. The anesthesia and thyroid are the culprits. Hypothyroidism can creep up on you and is very common in women. I was gaining weight for no good reason, had "fat" tongue, hair loss, bags under my eyes, etc. I had to beg my GP for Armour Raw Thyroid. It stopped the unnecessary weight gain, eye bags, and fat tongue. I follow a very clean diet: no alcohol, gluten, processed foods, all "white" foods really, and for awhile felt much better. My only sin is minimal dark chocolate (not much sugar). Now I feel bad again and blood tests show that my TSH is way too low, and my liver enzymes are too high. You can get fatty liver and cirrhosis of the liver without alcohol, which is what I fear for me. Those conditions can be caused by untreated hypothyroid. I recommend blood testing, but be aware that thyroid can produce false negatives. Hypoglycemia (blood sugar too low) can also cause some of these symptoms. A really good diet could make all of the difference. Really!! It did for me until recently. I hope that this helps. Good luck and I hope you feel better!!

I sympathize with you as I thought my problems very much like yours, stemmed from the fact I am old. That said, I notice others like my Hubby who is even older than me does just fine. Regular trips to the doctor, blood tests that come back normal and I am told I no way look my age. Well be that as it may I sure feel old and sick and tired of dizziness, feeling exhausted, spaced out and more. My Hubby told me to stop all my medicines which I did. That did not help. I keep telling myself this is how all old people feel, but then I look around and people my age including my sister who is even older, are doing just fine....Do not know where to turn or what to do.

I am 18 right now a male, but when I was 14 I cracked my head so these symptoms came in when I was 16 tho. Before my head crack I had a lot of energy and box and skateboard daily and ate whatever food I wanted. I don't think it was my head causing all of this but my first symptom was anxiety and sweating all day at school, I am guessing atleast 2 gallons of sweat a day for a year. These past few months I quit smoking and vaping and drinking and also changed my diet. I feel a little better and do not sweat as much and my anxiety went down, but I still feel like garbage every day. I changed my diet mostly because I was getting bad stomach pains every night after sleeping at like 3:00 AM. But my diet and workout change I think helped that but I have been to the doctor's many times and they don't have a answer. They just say I'm sensitive to certain foods and i hace emyboyd fatigue (if i said that right) but I have been feeling pointless I can't get anybettdr than I am right now and I have also been coughing up brown stuff so I am getting that checked out. It's to the point I can't hold a job i graduated in 11th grade with only having to go 5 hours a day, but now if I leave the house for like 4 maybe 5 hours I will start to feel like dizzy in the head and lose coordination I can't drive either because it's like my coordination can blank out at anytime for 30 seconds. My life is literally a living yell, people that are decent healthy in 3rd world countries feel better than me and can do more. I have done way more in my life than cracked my head but maybe all the drugs and injuries won't heal back to how I was, which i understand but this past 2 years it's feels like my body has grown 20 year's I noticed a big change when doing activity. I dropped all my friend's because I couldn't keep up with only chilling like every once 3 months, I hate to admit it but maybe I am to die soon or supposed to already be dead.
