Hey everybody, I'm 18 years old never had any medical problems. About 2 weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like i had something stuck in my throat, and when i would swallow it would feel like i was swallowing something. About 4 days later i went to see a doctor at the local hospital and he said it was strep throat. But i felt no pain at all. He prescribed me penicillin and said that would take care of the infection. It's been about 2 weeks and the feeling is still there. It actually has gotten worse because now i feel pain around where my tonsils are on the right side of my throat.
I don't know what to do???

Feels like something is stuck in my throat. It is more painful when I lie down.
