FibroCalcific residuals on upper right lobe
That is my X ray results. I undergone 2 xrays. One was the normal xray and the other one was lordotic view. Im 22 years old. We dont have any history of TB. Im not a smoker nor drinker.
My question is if I can still able to go to abroad/ work with other companies requiring annual medical examinations with this kind of xray results?
Hi Chris,
You REALLY need to speak with your doctor.
Fibrocalicific residuals are NOT normal. Bascially normal lung tissue has become fibrous and then calcified. Neither are normal. Normal lung tissue appears clear in an x-ray.
It is probably NOT from PTB. It is usually associated with breathing in asbestos or other mineral fibers.
Wish I had more for you. Please see a pulmonologist for an examination.
Good luck.
Oww. I see thank you doc!
Is it tranferrable When in contact with others?
Is the trace removable?
And if it will lead to lung cancer?
If it is from asbestos or something similar then no, it is not something you'd pass on to others. It often leads to lung cancer.
Please do not delay seeking medical attention. They really need to identify WHAT is going on here.
