My first change came in my calves. When I first started walking at lunch, we'd always head up this big hill to start with. In no time at all, my calves were like rocks.
I've always had pretty stong calves - genetic thing, I think. First place I really noticed were my quads. That's the first place (probably the only ) that I could see good definition.

Seemed like as the gut began to shrink the quad and calves both started to expand. My beanpole legs have been redefined.

I noticed in general weight loss first, because I was very obese when I began running.
