Hello. I'm 22 year old female and I have some delicate questions about some delicate problems that are making my sexual life uncomfortable. Just recently I become sexually active and I'm being confused by one thing. During sexual intercourse my vagina sometimes produces some kind of strange noises. It sounds like I'm passing gas – but, like I said, it's coming from my vagina and it is loud and uncontrollable. I was very embarrassed when this happened first time but luckily, my boyfriend didn’t find this to be anything so embarrassing. Anyway, I would like to find out more about this vaginal flatulence and is there anything I could do to prevent this from happening?

Hello. I understand how you are feeling right now because the same thing happened to me earlier. So, I did a small research on my own and listen what I have found out. Vaginal flatulence, or queefing, is simply the sound of air rushing out of the vagina.
That’s all what it is, although it sounds like some vaginal fart.
Basically, when a woman is having intercourse, air can easily make its way into the vagina when the penis is thrusting in and out.
It isn’t anything dangerous and shouldn’t be anything embarrassing. Like I said, it happened to me several times and my boyfriend and I just laughed it and keep on with our “activities” like nothing happened. It could be avoided if you change the position of your body when you first time hear it.

it can cause a bloating feeling until it is released even though it seems embarrassing it happens and i read that blowing air can cause problems during pregnancy but as mention before it would be wise to change positions just to be on the safe side if u are expecting.
