Hi all
I have been doing great since my bowel resection in march. I ate a cheese sandwich on Friday and during the night, I was violently vomiting every hour and had diarrhea twice.
Saturday I was in bed all day catching up on sleep. Then during the day my stomach and my bowels , at least like it feels like it, where my surgery took place are so sore and I had trapped wind until last night. I had 2 pieces of dry toast and 1 activa yoghurt all weekend.
I am worried that I have done damage because of the throwing up? I have been to the bathroom but still have the runs, no blood though so thats good...
Before this happened I was going fine to the bathroom and having no problems at all with the runs.
Am about to eat properly for the first time since Friday (today is Monday) but I am still so sore, it is getting better but very slowly. Does it take longer because the surgery was only 6 months ago?
Needless to say I won't be touching cheese again!! Thx.
