I have had thyroid surgery for thyrotoxicosis. The upper left lobe was entirely removed. Since then, food has gotten stuck in my throat near and by the scar. It feels like a constant stabbing pain, as if a toothpick is lodged there. I've been tested over and over and doctors have no explanation or solution. One doctor literally guessed the food is getting caught in the scar tissue or muscle but offered no solution. Help, please.
