Hey i just started to read more about how the foreskin should be able to be pulled back with out pain and i tried it in the shower. I pulled it to half way and I was able to see frenum which is the Y shaped skin structure. This doesn't exactly hurt it does sting a little which is what i assumed normal cause it is my first time. While retracting my foreskin I had a little trouble and got a bit worried that it got stuck which would cut off circulation to the tip, but when I squeezed the tip softly it would change colors (whitish back the the pink) which means that there is circulation. After a bit when I was soft the skin rolled back over with little help and now it feels a bit weird like a slight tingle feeling. Is that normal?

Hi Guest
You have to be careful when you try to pull it back don't force it.
If you do it when you take a bath it helps some.
just do it a little bit at a time it will take awhile to get it back.
If it hurts stop.
You can search for instructions on how to do it.

Just letting both of you guys know. I had the exact same problem at 12 or 13 when I did my own. It is very sensitive at first, over time you grow accustomed to the sensitivity. For a few minutes a day I would retract the skin and leave it exposed while I wore underwear. The friction of that hurt. But let me tell you, that exposure helps. I'm 24 now, and now my foreskin retracts on its own, it's not sensitive to water, sex is not painful, and life is great.
Remember your skin is new and sensitive, it's normal. Occasionally i would grab water with my hands and apply it my penis exposed. Felt awful at first, but again over time the sensitivity goes away. I promise you guys everything will be fine.

I've just recently pulled my foreskin back (im 16) and the tip of my penis has finally come out. However, after the process, it stings whenever it touches anything or when I touch it. It was a bit hard pulling it (tiny bit pain). Is this normal or do I have to see a doctor?
