help i am freaking out. I read other responses but the ones about breezing through are a pile of bs. im 22 had them taken out 5/25 it is now 6/5. first week was hell, start of second week felt a little better but the left side of my tongue feels partially numb and im scared i won't get the feeling or taste back. my voice isnt normal yet, still hurts in the back and the sides feels raw, i dont think i can stand a whole month of this. i was one of the people with severe bleeding and the doctor transfused me on the spot on the chair it was hell, my right side was worse than the left but now my left side is bugging me. Im really worried that the doctor screwed up my post op check up is on the 8th and im ready to give the doc a piece of my mind, with whatever voice ill have left. if anyone has some words of encourangment or advice please share. i dont get how people have posted about eating hot dogs and pot pies or even rice or bread im starving here and drinking anything hurts or burns, i can usually suck up a lot of pain and play tought but now im really worried
