Ok, so I don't know what's going on here.....I don't know if its just aggrevated skin or if its something I should be concerned about. I shave my pubic hair completely. After I do, probably about a day or two later I have 1 or 2 bumps. Then if I give myself a few days, they are gone. I'm in college now and I have only had sex with 1 person since getting here, all my other partners were almost a year ago or longer and never had any symptoms or problems with anything before. So I don't know if maybe it's just maybe shaving aggrevated my skin and caused maybe an ingrown hair everyonce in a while, because its only a day or two after I shave I had a pelvic done after my partners from a while back, I always use protection, and I don't have any symptoms or problems generally associated with any STD's. So if anyone could give me feedback on this, it would be appreciated, maybe I'm just over reacting but I wanna get someone else's opinion on this.
Oh you don’t need to worry, the bumps that appear right after you shave are just normal to occur as a reaction on shaving, I also have such problems and never pay much attention to it. That happens when you irritate the root of the hair and it becomes inflamed and thus small bumps appear, they are filled with some white pus that could be popped out but I would suggest not to do that so it doesn’t get infected.
You just have no reasons to believe this is the result of some STD because it’s not, it really has nothing to do with it.
Swollen hair follicles and bumps that show up after shaving are usually not treated, they go away in a few days.
The only thing that I would suggest here is try to avoid using some more acidic shower gels, try to use mild ones, or ph neutral soaps, this is just to avoid the further irritation.
