Hello. I am 16 years old, soon to be 17. About two years ago I finally figured out that I had frenulum breve and it's kind of been worrying me ever since. It's not so tight that it completely restricts the foreskin from retracting. However it only allows the foreskin to get to the base of the glans and then it stops and becomes to tight. I am worried that once it comes to having sex this will cause problems and hurt me "performance". :-D I would like to get this problem sorted out, however circumcision is not an option. Can anyone give any advice about the freunoplasty? How much does it cost? Where can I find a doctor to consult with? (Chicago Area). Are there specialized doctors who can deal with this? Also can anyone recommend stretching? Will it work in my case? Thank you for all the help.
Hi, I underwent a frenuloplasty about a year ago to solve basicly the same problem that you have and it worked perfectly, like you I was also fully against a circumcision and decided to go with a frenuloplasty as it seemed less invasive. I was terrified before the operation but it is nearly painless, only a little bit sore for a couple of days. I also had a tight foreskin which I managed to fix with daily stretching but i'm not too sure if stretching can work with a tight frenulum. As for costs my frenuloplasty cost £1400 (using Google converter roughly $2300) when I went private, although it seems expensive it was definetly worth it as I had come to my wits end trying to cure myself naturally. Hope this helps and good luck :-D
Oh and don't let anyone tell you that a circumcision is the only option, a circumcision is the LAST option. The first urologist I saw was adamant that this was the only path I could take and I am still intact and very thankful that I went to a different specialist.
