Hi,
Im going to keep this as short as possible with as many details as possible, otherwise i ramble on and it turns into a a three page paper lol.
Quick Questions:
- Can birth control cause breast enalrgement 4-6 months after being on it? ( I have been on BC for 3 years, but switched BC 4-6 months ago)
- Is testing two weeks after missed period ample time for an accurate result?
- Can your hormones be too low for pregnancy tests to detect it at two weeks after missed period (5 weeks after sex)?
- Where can I go to get a blood test is the health clinic only offers urine tests, and I don't have insurance?
Here's my story, lol. I had sex March 18. Just over 5 weeks ago. Three weeks after sex, I got what I think was my period on my placebo pills. A few days after my period ended, and up to now, I have had minor cramping, bloating, gas and the need to have a bowel movment. (which is weird since i only get those symptoms before a period, never after) Then a few days ago I noticed my breasts have gotten bigger, without a doubt. This has NEVER happened to me before. (exception of a day or two before a period, but they have never gotten anywhere near to this size before and my next period is a week and 2 days away)
Yet, I just took two pregnancy tests (Two weeks and a few days since last period or whats thought to be period and 5 weeks and a few days since sex) and they are both negative. (Clear blue digital)
So, i would say, hey im not pregnant.. but how can that be when my breasts have gotten larger, and that's obviously a big sign of pregnancy??Is it possible my breasts are just getting bigger and it just so happens 5 weeks after sex?Or do you think I am definitely pregnant, but for some reason my hormone levels are too low for the pregnancy tests to pick up?
P.S. I have sex about once every year and a half, lol seriously. (Im paranoid about getting pregnant)And, I have had no other symptoms besides, cramping, gas, bloating (which seems to aleviate once i have a bowel movement but it keeps coming back after), and I do feel a little weird in the morning and at night.
Thank you so much!
