still sick. Going for one more Hida scan. Just had another endoscopy which showed chronic inflammation in my stomach and into my esophagus. The Dr. also said he did not see one drop of bile in my stomach which is very suspicious. If this Hida is still showing !6% or lower I have no choice but to get this gallbladder taken out. It feels like it is affecting my entire body. I am weak. Perhaps Lyme has destroyed the gallbladder. I still get sharp stabbing pains in my mid spine between the shoulder blades. I am not sure if this is from herniated discs in that region from the lyme or referred pain from the gallbladder. My stool does get very light in color many times. I have chronic ringing in my ears. I looked at Chinese medicine and it says that ringing in the ears can be related to liver/gallbladder problems. I don't understand it but they say it has something to do with acupuncture meridians. I will post if I get gallbladder out and feel any better.

i feel just the same as you, an MRI scan has revealed a large gallstone I am due to have a endoscopy as my doctor says a large gallstone will not give me pain, I go dizzy quite a lot and feel as if I am being poisoned. one day I may be constipated then possibly the next three days I have diarrhea, sometimes it is the colour of light clay and sometimes nearly black, I do get pain in my stomach and just hope the gallstone can be removed and also gallbladder if need to .

I am the guest who posted had chronic inflammation in my stomach and esophagus. I went for the hida. Felt god awful as usual during test but gastro MD called me and now said gallbladder is working perfect. I give up. 3 hidas show 16% and now normal. I guess I am just sick with Lyme or post lyme syndrome. I have come to the conclusion I just have to live in misery.

Marianne, I have also been having the same symptoms for the last three months they have also diagnosed me with anxiety and panic attacks they are sending me for a cardiac workup and so far it's showing that I have a sinus arrhythmia I have a ultrasound of my gallbladder scheduled for Tuesday and I'm wondering what the outcome of your story was thank you.

Recent Hida now shows my gallbladder working fine. Figure that out. Dr. thinks I may have blockage bile duct. Put me on actigol but just made diarrhea worse. Have an appointment to discuss with him. I feel this pain in my spine is from Lyme disease either still alive in me or post lyme syndrome. As I am typing this it feels like there is a knife stabbing me in the mid back. Have to find a Lyme doctor that accepts Medicare and doesn't charge $800 first visit and doesn't accept any insurance. Its a disgrace.

I have the same symptoms. My hida scan was 30% and my doctors has scheduled the removal of my gallbladder, stating it isn't functioning.

HI there,I realize you wrote this a while ago but I just wanted to say every symptom you described is exactly the same as me. The dizziness i's frightening which then leads me to panic! I have constant diarrhea, gassy, bloating, sore back and a weird pain to the right of my bellybutton. My whole right side feels weird and heavy,it's scary. I had an ultrasound for an unrelated pain and they discovered gallstones, but I don't know if the symptoms I'm having are a result of that or something different altogether. It's causing me so much anxiety.

I am having the same issues now. Been sick for 8 months with pain in the right side, extreme dizziness, slight headaches and a feeling like some cramps in the lower abdomen which always end in these headaches. I do have a gallstone of 2cm and they keep telling me that it's not the cause of my issues because it is so big. But I know my body better than anyone and I know it is this. Please let me know how you solved your problems in the end. Thank you!

I feel lyme damage is causing my dizziness, headaches and back pain. As I said in my last post my last Hida was normal now. Is there a time of day you are worse? I am always the worse in the mornings. Been that way since first got sick. Ringing in my ears is so bad right now I can hardly hear tv.

my current age is 36 male, i'm having stomach issues from age of 26 like acidity ,etc. Slowly it progressed in to belching and bloating. Every year the severity increased and now at a point where each meal i feel bloated and belching. In addition to this i feel dizzy, i need to burp a lot which keeps less dizzy. I had so far 3 endoscopy and 2 times colonoscopy. The results were gastritis. However the HIDA scan says my gall bladder is working 0% biliary dyskensia. I'm more concerned now with my dizziness /lightheadness compared to digestion issues. I can't focus in work or keep attention and in a confused state always. some time i feel i'm going to pass out. I always feel some thing holding up on my right side of the rib above belly button. Doctors says gallbladder and dizzy is not related. When checked on this , doctor advises to remove gallbladder to figure out if dizziness goes away. He also says it is not gauranteed that all the digestion issues will go away if the gall bladder is removed. Have to take decisions soon, any one here with hida scan 0% with dizziness, belching, bloading and tired ? The only option i left with it is to remove my non working gall bladder!

I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy done this week. They found gastritis as the issue. Doctor prescribed omiperzole. But i haven't got any relief so far. Still burping and belching going on. Still i'm wondering is this something to do with the non working gall bladder.

Hi there I would love love love this doctors email address. I experience a weird sense of disorientation, shakiness, dizziness like I'm about to pass out everyday. Mine I know are due to cholesterol gallstones and digestive problems. I'd love to be seen by someone who can help! Thanks, Monique.

Gluten plays a HUGE role in all this too. That ties in with Celiac which ties in with many other symptoms
