My Doc said that gallbladder problems do not make you dizzy. I would bet he has never had a problem with GB. I get dizzy when I eat.

O yes I hear you. I feel the exact same way. I've had all the test done ekg, ultrasound, x-rays of my chest. Everything ok but I get dizzy feel like a heart attack scared to even be by myself at times. It's scary at times but I haven't got my gallbladder taken out yet. I don't have stones or anything its just a " lazy galbladder".

I am amazed so many of us has the dizziness. I too have experienced near fainting feeling (syncope) at times especially here lately, dizziness throughout the day with bloating after eating, headaches, migraines, and unexplained head pressure. I also get a heated feeling that runs through me to my neck and head. It is hard to explain, but it makes me feel unwell and I tend to feel discomfort center of diaphragm and it tends to happen mostly at dinner time. I think it could be from inflammation radiating from deep within, but I am not sure. I have at least 1cm stone, maybe larger by now. I believe I have had issues since I was a teen, but only have found confirmation in my early 40s about the stone during an ultrasound following a visit to dr. after having near passing out feelings following a lumbar puncture last year together with bowel issues including green and clay color. After I about flew off the table when she examined my gallbladder she sent me to hospital. I couldn't believe it hurt like that because otherwise I was not feeling pain there. Very weird! Ultrasound showed stone was moving freely and too large to try and escape, so there was no surgery and I was left feeling my initial symptoms were from the lumbar puncture. Over the years I have been dx with vertigo, vasovagal acid reflux/GERD, gastritis. My stone does remind me it is there sometimes, but it is not a terrible pain. My tests, blood work is usually good. A couple have showed elevated liver enzymes which gallstone is suspect. Currently because of symptoms I mentioned above acting up I am thinking it is time to have gallbladder out and doctor agrees. I had a recent hospital stay for heart palpitation that lead to dizziness and near syncope, so I have been following up with a Cardiologist and will be wearing heart monitor. Stress test and other tests have been good. During my tilt table test I almost passed out for few minutes of table going up, but once that passed the rest of test went well and I was able to stand for several minutes just fine, at least 30 mins or so. Doctor was puzzled about that, but I wondered if gallbladder might have been to blame for that type of response from change in position or rush of blood. My heart jumped up in beats so fast to try and compensate. I would really like to hear from anyone that may be going through same type of symptoms and I hope all who have posted here are finding resolve.

I still don't know much. Getting this diagnosed has turned into an unexpected lengthy process. Currently I am waiting results from HIDA scan and it has been over a week. I have been having less headpressure, dizziness and hot flash feeling after eating. I started taking liquid supplement from Walmart that has calcium, Vit. D and Magnesium which might be helping, but my stomach doesn't tolerate it as well as I would like. I also deal with GERD. I'm figuring I am deficient since with gallbladder problems we try to avoid milk etc. I don't take it every day and I only take about 1/3 dosage, as I noticed it made me feel flushed. I would love to know if anyone else tries it and you find it works too.
