Thank you so much for sharing your story. My 16 yr old son has had severe abdominal pain for 9 months. He can't eat anything or he throws it up. He's lost over 45 lbs. He's now back in childrens hospital getting tests. His Hida Scan is tomorrow morning fingers crossed this is the answer finally!!

Hello everyone. Has anyone of you heard about the procedure carried out in China ? Chinese doctors take out the gallstones only and are able to preserve gallbladder. This procedure was launched in 2006/2007. Since 2012 it has been available for foreigners. Many patients from US, UK. Australia, Malaysia, Russia have already been there. YOu can find a lot of testimonies. I am also thinking about going to China and have my gallstone removed there.

Hi, I'm just letting you know that you don't have to be over 23 to have gallstones. My daughter had gallstones at 4, and her weight was only 11 kg. She had them out at 5 years old.
