I've had a lump in the back of my throat, quite visual, quite big, for at least 10 years now, at least when i noticed it, maybe even way before. I am 22 now, so i'm talking about way before my teens years. I didn't smoke, drink or do anything, just a normal average kid back then, however, the lump was there. I went to a doctor several years later, she told me not to worry that it is only a "gland"...
I picked up smoking about 3-4 ago, was never a heavy smoker, just casual, but the stress increased over the time, and so did the packs. The most i would hit would be 5-6 a day. On some "special" days, i'll even hit 10...but that only last for a few weeks.
I've just recently quit. However I the "gland" has slightly grown in size, and now has what appears to be, small "holes" or "cracks" on it. Throat is always red/sore, but not irate. Just recently, the other side of my throat seems to have grown a "gland" as well, not has big but definitely visual. Also have somehow accumulated some sort of white patches all over them these "gland" like figures. If i were to touch it, it bleeds easily but the white patches come off easily.
At times i feel that there is this really weird sensation/tingle deep in my ears, but theres nothing there.
It doesnt hurt to eat or drink or anything, but.... ya, i can 2 bumps on outside of neck as well.
