Thank you for solving my mystery. I had these gray hands and my family got real worried and wanted to take me to ER but I was feeling fine so I googled gray hands and Thank God I found your post. I was wearing new jeans. Thank you for sharing!!!
Hope that is all it is. My Dad's hands are turning gray and I am being told it is due to poor circulation and his heart disease.
I am trying to fingure out why my hands are turning a gray/silverish color too. It has happened to me 3 times in the past month and it occured on days that I had consumed alcohol.
That is exactly what I thought when my daughter showed me her gray hands. But she said the jeans weren't new. Beginning to believe that it might be something else.

It may not be connected, but sometimes people die within 2 hours from when this happened; it starts with hands and and legs...., within 2 hours the person is dead.

My son is 23, he was in a car accident 6 years ago. He broke his neck In 3 places and his lower back. His hands and knees turn great and ashy looking. He has nerve damage to his right side. I wonder if there is a correlation.

Try looking up hematochratosis!
I asked my hand surgeon about mine thinking it was related to fusion surgery done a couple of months ago. He was puzzled but said it was nothing to worry about. Asked cardiologist about it he said with no other symptoms nothing to be concerned about.
This just happened to me this morning and has never happened before.

WOW. I had 600$ of tests and no one ever thought to tell me to wash my hands!! However, there might be somethng else going on withthis dye, because myarms also got relly orange looking when i had this for three days once. But I must have washed my hands and teh sye didn't come off. Teh dye must be penetrating the skin and doing some thing inteh blood that makes teh skin turn color . Teh chineese are trying to killus all. no pain, no rash, good O2 levels not anemic not cold sensative.

That's what I thought too but it keeps happening and I was told to see a dermatologist.
