I am 15 years old and have the problem of green - yellow mucus coming out from nose for over 1 year.
Sometimes mucus comes out 2-3 times a day and sometimes so frequently that i am not able to sleep.
is this a serious problem ??? And what is the cure for this problem.

Green/Yellow discharge could indicate an infection, not always. There are special white blood cells called neutrophils that can also turn your mucus that color, like when you have a cold.
It could be related to allergies as well.
Start off with a visit to your doctor.

I also have the same problem which been already 3 years...I went to have nasal endoscopy and the ENT specialist told me that my left sinus was infected with lots of yellowish discharge. she then prescribed me two types of antibiotics, Enhancin 625mg, Metronidazole-200mg, aeries D-12 120mg. It became better after I been taking those. However, once I stopped taking them, the problem came back. Until today, I still have those discharge from my nose. it stinks sometimes. I am concerned with this issue. However, other than the yellowish discharge from my nose, otherwise, I am ok. I dont have fever or anything...just stuffy nose with yellowish mucus.
