Had period a week ago now spotting red

Had my period,  a week ago it ended since then I had spotted twice red (NOT BROWN ) the first time I was doing dishes and felt wet checked and was bleeding red I put tampon in and checked  few hours later barley nothing then last night woke up bleeding red again and  was soaked then again put tampon in and not much on it. WHAT COULD THIS BE ???????????
