That's good, Erica. I thought your period would come soon.
'Spotting' is light bleeding from your vagina. Although it is similar to a period, it not so heavy; it is much lighter. The colour of the blood can be anything from red to brown. However, the spotting because of pregnancy usually only lasts a day or two.
While spotting often happens in pregnancy, there are other things that may be going on inside a woman's body that caused some light bleeding, e.g. cervix irritation, fibroids, cervical polyp, a cervical or vaginal infection, or even an inherited disorder.
If you are having light bleeding, it is best to consult a doctor.
I hope this helps

Hi again so this is my third day on my menstral but it looks like it's ending, it is getting darker and very light like I usually wear tampons, when I'm heavy nut I've been really light the color looked normal the first to days but today it turns brownish red so it feels like I'm ending early. Idk what this means

Shuld i still take a pregnancy test

Sorry for the delay in replying. One-off 'symptoms' are sometimes difficult to interpret. First time sex sometimes causes hormone surges that have menstrual impacts.
Taking a pregnancy test would settle your mind, and now is an appropriate time for a reliable result (21 days after last sex).

Ooh okay I took one on Friday or Saturday, but it was neg should I another or that one is good.

It is likely to be good, bearing in mind your period was only a day later than expected, and starting 20 March indicates Ovulation Day to be 6 March - a day before you had sex. Also, if you took the test 25th, then it was 18 days after sex. I prefer to leave 21 days to be absolutely sure just in case you ovulated a week late, and to give a better chance for the hormones to show up. I think another test would confirm the negative result, but it might be worth it, just to put your mind at rest.

I had unprotected sex a week before my period I took a plan b pill a few hours after but it's come to the day of my period and it still hasn't come. Can I take a test with an accurate result?

No, not yet.
Firstly, the week before your period should start is not likely to be a fertile time anyway. If it did happen to have been a fertile time, that would indicate you ovulated at least a week later than expected, and so your period would be at least a week late.
Secondly, the fact you took a Plan B pill would mean that your cycle could be disrupted. That would mean that your next period could be earlier or later than was expected. Indeed you could miss a period altogether. Furthermore subsequent periods could be at unpredictable times. Your cycle may take a couple of months or so to settle down to a regular pattern.
I would very much doubt you are pregnant, but if you did want to take a test, then I suggest waiting until 21 days after your last sex to get a reliable result.
I hope this helps.

Hi so my last menstral was June 9th to June 12th I regularly use a period tracker to track my period and ovulation etc. And usually me and my be uses the pull out method. But last week I decided to start birth control, and my doctor told to start the pill on the first day of my period, and she told me this I think on wed of last week and my period tracker says that I will start my period on the 6th this wed but it still hasn't came, so idk if I'm pregnant or just late but I have been having light cramps and I do have a little bit of the pregnancy symptoms but idk if it's my mind playing tricks on me, is known if I'm thinking to much about that I'm making myself feel pregnant.
Please help

Period &c trackers estimate the dates of next cycle events based on past data that has been fed into the system. They are reliant on accurate data being input, but they are only estimates, not guarantees. So you might just be 'late', or you might be pregnant. However you don't give much information.

  1. On what dates did your previous two periods start?
  2. What is your cycle length (typically 28 days)?
  3. Is it regular?
  4. On what dates since June 9th did you have any sexual activity?

Well I have been using this for about 7 months now, and it's always been accurate but the other one was May 14th to May 17th, and my cycle length has changed according to the tracker its between 26 and 27. I guess its regular, it's only been late one day before but that was months ago. And I think we had sex after my period.
