I am 26 and have long hairs that grow on the outer edge of my nipples...they seem to get longer and multiply every year....some of the hairs are growing together...I have had this since about 18 ....have always wondered about it ...does any one know is this normal and at some point will it stop? thanks
Hair growing on your breasts is very common for women. It isn't weird and doesn't mean that you have a horrible problem. Everyone grows hair on their body, it is just that some people have more prominent hair growth than others. I wouldn't worry about it. You could always pluck them if they are a concern for you. Hope this helped.
hair growth on breasts could possibly be an indicator of polycystic ovaries and should be discussed with your gynocologist
Hello,
unfortunately I have the same problem. :(
hairs on my nipples are there since the puberty so I think that this is not a sign of polycystic ovaries and I have talked about this with my doctor and she said that we need to do many tests to find out is that true but that she thinks I am worrying about nothing.
Also, she has advised me not to pull them out but to trim them with the scissors because nipples are very sensitive area. So basically I have been doing this for a few years now and luckily the amount of these hair hasn't increased.
If you hear for some better solution please let me know.
