Hi, I am 57 years old and I would like to ask you about my incoming surgery, I am having surgery on my upper airway (tumor in the beginning phase) and I guess I would just like to know what happens after. I mean, how successful will the operation be, what are my next options, possible therapy and treatment.
Well, the good thing is that the tumor is in its beginning phase, so it is likely that all of tumor cells will be removed. Still, it might be possible that you will have to go for radiation or chemo therapy, in order to eliminate any possibility of residual mutagen cells. So, for now, let’s wait and see the outcome of the surgery.
