Hi all,
I am on the 5th evening of post op abdominal and back lipo. First things out of my mouth were "I was not expecting this much pain". I am wearing my garment every day and am not just sore I am in pain unless I am laying down so everything evens out. The one strange thing is the indigestion and heartburn. I finally figured out that the constriction of the garment is causing it but I do not want to loosen it. I am going on walks but then I pay for it during the evening as I swell up still. I am also frustrated because of course I had a general anesthesia and was injected with saline and actually came home that evening 9 lbs. heavier which apparently will go away after 4 weeks. I am trying to be patient but am getting depressed because I cannot just "get up and go" and want the results now. Anyway ... hopefully I can muddle through this first stage and appreciate the decision I made. Right now I am regretting it.

Dont worry everything will get better with the days. I had my lipo three weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. I'm 120 pounds and 33 years, I don't have kids. Initially I went to get my upperlid surgery, and decided to get my lipo to get a smaller waist. I was already thin, but anyways, my vanity made me do it. it has been a horrible experience, these past two weeks the pain and vomiting had been terrible. I couldn't eat anything because I was even disgusted by the smell of food. Now in my third week  I feel a little bit better, the pain is less, and I don't have nauseas anymore. However, I see my stomach huge, and it wasn't like tHat before. I'm always hungry and I'm eating a lot, and I get a headache everyday. I hope this change soon for me. Good luck in your process, supposedly with time it gets better,,,
