last Thur i woke up and went to work as normall as the day went on the back of my head felt like some one was pressing down on me this progressivly got worse as the day went by. This sensation remained for a good 3 days, the pressure then died down and was replaced with a dizziness and what i would describe as the back of my head feeling very heavy. This feeling has remained with me for over a week. The feeling becomes much worse when i try to drive a car.
One the 3rd day i saw a doctor and he suggested it was a virus and it would clear up of its own accord however 10 days later i still have the symptoms. Please help

I'm experiencing the same thing at the moment. Please someone help us!!!!!!!!!
How have you both got on as you have mentioned similar symptoms to mine, especially driving a car....?
I think you should be tested for Arnold Chiari Malformation...I have it and when it first started bothering me it started with extreme pressure in my the back of my head. Google it and read some of the symtoms...hope this helps
Please note that this is related to stress and mediocre life style, was it in the office or driving a car (since you need to concentrate). It is likely to be a TENSION on your neck or heavy stress. It will go away by changing your lifestyle, but first some medication might help you; so please visit a neurologist asap! hope this post helped you!
Hi I know this was a long time ago for some of you but I am getting the same symptoms. It is way worse when I drive a car, it is so bad it is hard to function and I have no idea what to do!
Did you still concern with doctor or not, if yes then what he said? It happens sometime due to sickness of body so take healthy food.
I am having the same sensation. I have noticed when I use my bifocals, that I tend to tilt my head in a way that causes my neck to hurt. But my pillow may also a contributing factor.
