Here's a question or two for the forum. I have done a number of searches and I still have not found anyone talking about this particular set of symptoms I am experiencing:
I have numbness on the back and lower part of my left heel, as well as a lump, which is tender to the touch, on my left Achilles tendon. I really do not have the stabbing or burning pain in my heel that I have read about elsewhere on this forum (or anywhere else).
I have tried doing some of what was recommended for plantar fasciitis, and it didn't do any good. So I just don't know. Any ideas what it could be?

You could have achilles tendonitis, a nerve compression, and pump bump. You should consult an othopedic.
Consult a doctor if you feel these symptoms are severe.
Hii. I have the exact same symptoms your describing. Did you ever figure out what this was??
