There's more than one Bristol. What state or even country are you located? Maybe someone can help you with that.
My two cents is: don't focus on your claim now. Get the wrist treated and then deal with it later. Why? The longer the wrist isn't properly treated the longer it will take to heal and the longer the recovery period. In some cases, if a bone sets "wrong" it may need to be rebroken to fix properly.
Medical treatment comes first, always.
